My work, at its core, is rooted in the idea that healing happens when we are able to allow all of our parts to be witnessed by another. I am strongly committed to helping people process and heal complex and relational trauma, and feel passionately about helping survivors increase their sense of self, purpose, and agency. I employ post-modern modalities in my practice and believe it is necessary to look at the ways in which culture, privilege and identity impact our individual capacities to access safety and peace in life.

I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, specializing in psychological trauma. Early in my clinical work in community mental health, I found myself drawn to working with survivors of sexual trauma. I was struck by the lack of attention paid to the libidinal impacts of this kind of trauma, and this led me down a path of pursuing ongoing training in human sexuality. I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and feel strongly about the importance of education and advocacy in sexuality spaces.

My areas of expertise include working with fellow queer-identified people and their relationships, attachment-based couples work, sex therapy and complex trauma. I also have a wide range of experience in working with anxiety, codependency, grief and people pleasing. I feel deeply grateful to be able to do this work, and bring a balance of genuine curiosity, honesty, and humor to the therapy room. I believe that finding the right therapist for you is paramount, and if you feel like I may be a good fit for you, feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.
